With over 20 years’ experience working in psychology, I have supported many community members on their mental health journeys and helped a wide range of people, including adults and children.
I am a relationship based professional and value this above all else in our partnership. I believe that this relationship is the biggest factor in empowering you to make changes, and I pride myself on being able to establish engaging relationships with my clients and their carers, in a safe and calming space.
I also believe in a whole of self approach to addressing mental health issues; and therapy that considers physical, emotional, and social factors that can impact on you and contribute to living your most productive and fulfilling life.
This all starts with your story. Telling and hearing your story supports an important thorough assessment and development of your goals. I will then work in collaboration with you, your carers, GPs and other health professionals to address these goals using strategies that are tailored to you and your strengths.
My therapeutic approaches including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, DBT, Play Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.
